Imagine a wine characterized by freshness, richness, and depth. Our Sonoma Pinot Noirs are of exceptional quality with a diverse flavor profile.
Born in Los Angeles, Bill was introduced to wine at an early age by his French-born father. He attended high school in Hawaii, where he learned to surf, before returning to California to study at Stanford University. As he describes his path from seawater to wine in a calm, steady voice, it’s hard to guess that this is the same man who spent much of the last 30 years in corporate boardrooms. Rather, it seems only natural that Price would trade in a thriving business career for a life among the vines, and that the father of three would wax poetic on the importance of leaving the world a better place for generations to come—whether through sustainable vineyard and winery practices or through his nonprofit work.
Price is the proprietor of Price Family Vineyards & Estates – an impressive portfolio of wineries, including Three Sticks Wines, and Sonoma County vineyards such as Durell and Gap’s Crown. As evidenced by the brands he’s created and the vineyards he owns, Price believes in quality first, working with passionate winemakers who have their own individual style of winemaking, and who maintain the vision with each vintage and each vineyard.
